Job Title :               Class II Moffett Driver

Locations:              Hampshire

Salary:                    £18,000- £21,000 per annum

Duration:               Part Time

Start Date:            ASAP

General Responsibilities

Delivering goods in a timely, safe and efficient manner with excellent customer service to customers                                            

Key Relationships:                                       Branch Manager

                                                                  Transport/Warehouse Manager

                                                                  Warehouse Operatives

                                                                  Customers

                                                                  Branch Staff

 Objectives of the role

• Must hold a valid Class II Licence

• Self motivated and flexible individual

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Loading and unloading the vehicle

• Work in warehouse/yard when required

• Ensure that all loads are safe

• Ensure and complete deliveries in a safe and proper manner

• Present a positive image of the company to the customer

• Ensure that all relevant delivery paperwork is completed properly

• Make all deliveries according to customer requirements and timescales using the correct offloading equipment

• Carry out vehicle checks and routine maintenance, reporting any defects

 Knowledge Requirements

• Health and safety policy

• Safe loading procedures

• Defensive driving techniques

• Tachograph completion

• Supplementary licence qualifications

-          HIAB

-          FLT

-          Moffett Trucks
