When we speak to potential new staff, we like to be thorough and understand exactly what you want from our service, and how we can provide it. After an initial phone conversation, or your enquiry, we will often invite you to a visit to our offices to have a chat about how we can work together. Here is what you can expect!

Come in for a chat

Getting to know people we are putting in roles is important, and whilst there is a lot of documentation to be sorted out, we think it’s equally as important to have a friendly conversation. We are totally upfront about what we offer, and the biggest part of our service is ensuring that you are comfortable knowing that we are here to help you when you need it. Having a face to face conversation helps to make sure you have a full understanding of the recruitment process and helps to build trust.

Question time

We will be asking a lot of questions – but don’t worry, they aren’t too difficult! It is important to understand what training and experience you have, as we can arrange any extra training necessary to get you fit for your next role.  The process of getting trained to our standards means that our great clients know they are getting the best staff possible, who are up to the level necessary to go straight in to work. You will then be sent away with your uniform and we will arrange any training you may need to be sent to you/ booked up as soon as possible.

Availability

It’s always important for us to know our staff never feel pressured to take a certain number of shifts. Some agencies will push staff in to any and every home they can for any shift they can find. You only take shifts which suit your availability and that you choose to accept. There is no pressure from us, and we understand that some weeks you may want less or more hours due to other commitments. We will discuss your availability when you come in to chat, and promise to do our best to offer shifts suited to your requirements. If they don’t suit and you don’t want them – you don’t have to accept them – simple!

It is also important to note that unlike the reports surrounding other companies, we do not charge staff for missing a shift. If you are sick or unable to attend a shift, please let us know as soon as possible and we can fill the space. Missing shifts due to unforeseen circumstances or the occasional mistake in the diary will not affect your chances for more shifts with us.

We start finding your work straight away

After our conversation, and all of the training and checks have been completed, we will waste no time and immediately get to work finding your shifts. Everest promise to be here when you need us, and the introduction in the office will let us get to know each other and confirm our commitments to you. We view our workers as clients, and our aim every day is to work hard to make certain that our agency staff are happy, working in the best place and getting the treatment they deserve.
