Job Summary

We are a year round busy agency providing temporary staffing solutions to a large number of clients based in the Hampshire regions who use our services based on the quality of staff that we work with and also the backup service that we provide to both our staff and our clients alike.

Working with partners and colleagues at the senior management level, you will ensure the provision of a high quality service for all end users. Within your allowed resources, it will be a priority to provide an operation which meets the individual needs of the service users as well as the organisational priorities you will be in charge of. Responsibility for the welfare of individuals who need your help is the cornerstone of this role, and something we at Everest take very seriously.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be aware of the needs of each service user under your supervision
  • Provide high standards of care to the residents at all times
  • To lead a team of care assistants in offering the best service possible
  • Develop the skills of your staff to help promote and sustain their ability
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records and reports, including care plans
  • Report any concerns you may have to the home’s nurses or management.

We can provide full-time or part-time working hours, on a temporary and flexible basis.

Pay Rates also vary based on the days of the shifts covered and level of training completed and as well as being able to pay you as PAYE (where we employ you and you receive of the benefits of being employed) we can for the time being work with healthcare assistants who wish to be paid via their own personal Limited Company.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: 

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a healthcare assistant in the healthcare sector 
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication skills
